ISYBAU
ISYBAU (Integriertes DV-System Bauwesen) is the German data exchange standard for sewer networks, developed by the federal building administration and widely required by municipalities and engineering offices in Germany. It holds exactly the data a longitudinal profile is built from: manhole positions and levels, inverts, diameters, slopes and condition data (e.g. from CCTV inspection). The older ASCII formats (types K, S, H, Z) have been superseded by an XML format. For an engineer outside Germany, ISYBAU is a signal that exporting a DXF drawing alone may not be enough — a German client often also expects data exchange in this format.
